Each venue commemorates the event with waived cover charges and discounts on the 12 eponymous brews, a selection of national and local beers. Activities such as photo opportunities with a Santa and a chance for guests to deliver their own reindeer calves help spread holiday cheer throughout the night. 12 Beers of Christmas also helps guests celebrate with themed costumes ranging from cheeky elf outfits to Christmas-tree-patterned pajamas.
