About Kids Play Lounge

The "town" in Kids Play Lounge hosts a post office and a movie theater, enough to ignite toddlers' imaginations and deep reverence for the US Postal service as they make believe in a mini play unit, replete with soft flooring and age appropriate toys. Elsewhere in the award-winning 92,000-square-foot indoor facility, guests ages 9 and under can crawl through see-through panels in a two-level play area. Upon re-energizing with healthy, peanut and tree nut–free snacks at the café, kids can practice at the sports-oriented arcade with games such as air hockey and skeeball. Along with open play, Kids Play Lounge hosts up to 20 children for birthday celebrations in one of four party rooms, 2.5-hour blocks of supervised drop-off playtime, and story time at 11 a.m. every Wednesday.

Both of my kids, ages 3 and 7, loved it. We were there from 10am to 3pm. I thought they'd be bored after a couple of hours, but they kept making new friends and found things to do. Great for imaginative play. The post office playroom was the favorite for my two kids. Definitely will be visiting again.

My 2-1/2 yr old grandchild enjoyed but the place could be cleaned up a bit.

I liked the layout of the facility. Parents can sit in the middle (lots of seating for adults) and see your children playing. I would recommend that the dress up play clothes be washed...it looked very dirty. Over all, my children had a lot of fun!

Limited summer hours was a bit disappointing. Staff should try to help keep play areas a little more organized. The building was rather warm, didn't feel like air conditioning was on. Kids had a great time nonetheless.

I think that you could cut back the prices for your juiceboxes. I think that charging $2 for a juice box is a bit excessive when I can buy a whole pack for about that price. You could charge $1 for the same item and still see a significant profit and I personally think that is much more reasonable. You ask people not to bring outside food/drink so the least you could do is provide them with an affordable option.
