A very educational experience with a truly sage wine expert

We participated in Judd's Hill's Food Seminar at 10 a.m. on a Saturday. It wasn't what we were expecting, but we loved it! The Food Seminar runs through a pairing of various wines (white, red, and dessert wines) with different flavors that are represented by foods such as a slice of lemon, BBQ sauce, tomato, salt, etc. A Judd's Hill employee (ours was Todd, and he was amazing) runs you through tasting all of the wines and the flavors to figure out both what you like and also how the flavors of the food change how you perceive the wine, and how the two go best together. This is a great value for the deal, and was a fun learning experience! Make sure to eat before you go though, as there isn't substantial food served. I would definitely recommend to anyone who's looking to learn how to pair food and wine and wants to learn more about the generic wine-pairing process.

This place is AWESOME!!! Loved Bob who did our tasting-we even were calling him Uncle Bob by the end of the tasting!! I will go back!!!! Great Wine and Great people!!

Judds Hill is a really nice place to enjoy fantastic wine in a relaxing atmosphere. The guy pouring our wine (Mike, I believe) was very knowledgeable and fun to hang out with

The staff were very helpful, and the area is nice. Also, the winery class was very informative and benefdicial to us.
