About Snappa Charters

Snappa Charters specializes in giving people the thrill of their lives. This boat charter team runs shark-cage-diving tours, where patrons can swim with blue, mako, and basking sharks from the safety of an anodized-aluminum cage in the water or from a snorkeling platform above the water. To be the hunter instead of the hunted, attend a sports-fishing excursion and seek out sea bass, cod, and fluke. Those wanting more time on the water can also go on whale-watching, lighthouse-spotting, and birding tours. Snappa also happily organizes private boating excursions for fun corporate events or bachelor parties for bachelors wondering exactly how many fish are in the sea.

Captain Charlie at Snappa is the real deal. He puts his heart and soul into making sure you have an authentic experience. we saw a minke whale, a mako shark and two blue sharks (one of which Charlie tagged and will update all on location).

It was a great experience and the captain was awesome! Mostly everyone got sick so I would reccommend taking something for the stomach. But it is a great, fun experience. Worth every penny!

Very knowledgable, friendly staff. Bring a sandwich ina cooler and plenty of snacks like soft cookies, crackers, pretzels, and water or other drinks in case the water is choppy and you need to settle your stomach. It was a great day. There is a Cumberland Farms nearby with restrooms and toms of food and drinks to choose from.

The Captain Charlie and first mate Katie were very nice and helpful! We saw Blue, Hammerhead, and Mako sharks. I would take this trip again.

The captain took days to get back to us regardimg the time the boat would leave marina. He left a voicemail for us midnight the night before our charter telling us the boat would leave at 6am. Poor explanation about how to get in and out of cage. No explanation about how to swim with sharks or shark behavior to watch out for. Marine biologist on board did not explain anything about the sharks despite the fact that she studied Blue Sharks (the exact shark we saw). It would be nice to learn about the Blue Shark (behavior, habitat, etc). Minimal information was given after prompts from questions. Boat bathroom had no running water. Toilet would not flush.

I purchased this for my inlaws for their anniversary. The company took months to return their call and when he did there were only two trips left for the season and they were both full! I would like a refund!
