Before going I would think that I would be up on a board during this activity. After actually doing it, I can fully understand why it didn't get us on a board. To put someone on a board when they aren't completely trained is dangerous and the teaching method used by the instructors works really well.

Found it difficult to use the kite the first time while balancing in the boat. If there was space somewhere on one of the sandbars (tides permitting), spending time there first to get some familiarity before body dragging in the bay. Otherwise, really enjoyed it!

Very detailed lesson with great information. Instructor, Jason was really thorough and was very knowledgeable. I rented a dry suit and unfortunately, I was soaked inside and got 2 right booties with my rental instead of a left and right bootie. Not a big deal, I just went back to change it, but would have been nice if it was more organized. I had a lot of fun and will definitely try kiteboarding again!
