wonderful guy who did my hair....the young guy from North Bay. Salon looks a bit dated although maybe it's perfect for the university square in which they are located. I also like the organic products
Less gossip in the workplace
Very good haircut by Joey. I had had a disastrous experience with another hairdresser and he repaired and corrected it perfectly. I'd go back for my next cut. And I highly recommend others go.
I felt comfortable and welcome
But I wouldn't pay the full amount for a wash, cut and style. Only what I paid: 22$.
It was one of the worst haircuts i've ever had - i actually had to fix it myself (with scissors) the next day. they did, however, exchange - no questions asked - a product i bought and that didn't work for me.
The website makes you think it's a high end salon... But it's just a small strip mall salon, worth air cut I ever got!
Very dirty, outdated facility. Stylists seemed to have very little experience. Worst highlights I have ever received.
When I arrived there were two people there, both were young and seemed relatively inexperienced (i.e. one didn't know what buttons to press to ring something up and how much a certain haircut was). My appointment started 15 minutes late and so I felt a bit rushed throughout, I'm not sure if she may have been trying to make up some time..which is not a great feeling to have when you go to the hairdresser. The cut was okay but nothing special that I would go back specifically for/not really what I had described as wanting..overall, if I had paid full price I would have been disappointed. As it was, it turned out alright but it is very unlikely I will return.
I asked upon making my appointment if my stylist was trained in cutting thick curly hair and I was told they absolutely did. That was not the case. I immediately went elsewhere to have my hair fixed. The atmosphere was uncomfortable and not very professional. I expected way more out of this salon.
