University of Surfing partners with the Jean Brink Pool in Pacifica to offer brand new classes that focus on surfing, water safety for kids, and underwater training. The "Surf Training" class with the instructor/owner Matt Cole consists of ocean safety, paddling, surfing skill development, and more. The "Intro to Surfing for Kids" class teaches the basics of surfing and water safety in a fun environment. In addition, there is also the "Underwater Training" with professional big wave surfer Iggy. During the underwater training, Iggy focuses on breathing techniques, underwater awareness, leash escapes, water orientation, relaxation, and more.

I had to re-schedule several times due to unfortunate events, but the Matt was more than understanding and let me reschedule without hesitation. The instructors were extremely kind, and took time to get to know us each individually. They also provided immediate feedback to help us improve our surfing. This was my first time surfing ever, and I absolutely had an amazing experience. I will do it again. Thank you all so much, and I HIGHLY recommend University of Surfing!!!!!

It was fun, fast-paced and exciting. The instructors were great and helped you catch waves. They were a bit late to the meeting point, though.

matt Cole and university of Surfing are great. My daughter took lessons and had a blast and learned from very qualified instructors. We liked it so much, we are going to continue.

The instructors were great! They took the time to help my son. He had a wonderful time. It inspired him to really get motivated to learn how to surf. Would recommend university of surfing to anyone who wants to learn how to surf.
