Even though there are classes, this is primarily a men's gym. The weight area is dominated by men, and I am not comfortable in the area, as are many women. The classes are much safer, but I don't feel that the classes suit my needs enough to justify paying full price. Many women make suggestions to management about changes/additions that they would like to the schedule, and their suggestions are not heeded, instead Intoxx tries to compete with their next door neighbor, CKO, by making their own kickboxing classes that carries a hefty charge on top of membership. These classes makes the aerobic room even less available for adding free classes.
