Desert Botanical Garden was our family destination for Mothers Day. It was a beautiful day in the garden. We especially enjoyed the butterfly exhibit, and capped off our visit with lunch at Gertrude's. Highly recommend visiting.

This is one of the most beautiful locations in Arizona, and without question the most beautiful spot in the Phoenix area. The variety of cacti and other desert plants is phenomenal. The organization of the different types of plants and the layout of the trails and paths is very well done.

Beautiful scenery, plant life, and we even spotted a jackrabbit and so many beautiful butterflies. Lots of little shady areas to hang out. I spotted at least two drinking fountains along the trails with water bottle refill stations attached. Employees and volunteers were welcoming.
