This was a great place to take family and friends from out of town. The volunteers are very knowledgeable and have a good presence.
A hidden gem in Phoenix. I highly recommend giving the museum a visit. It was a lot larger than I was expecting. Definitely meets the advertisement of world largest fire museum.
Museum was very organized and clean. Staff was helpful with any questions that we had.
We spent more time in this museum than any other we have ever been to. The people are so knowledgeable and amazing. I will be taking any/all visitors from out of town to the Hall of Flame. This place is second to none.
We took my mom to the Hall of Flame Museum for her birthday and WOW – what a hidden gem! 🚒🔥 From the second we walked in, we were all impressed. The exhibits are really well done – tons of history, beautifully restored fire trucks, and great displays. We got to see Rescue 4 from the 9/11 display and the Granite Mountain HotShot Buggy - both of which were incredibly moving. And if you need them, there are chairs sprinkled around and wheel chairs available if you need them.
But the BEST part of our visit was Bob. He was fabulous – super friendly, patient, and absolutely full of knowledge. We learned so much from him and his stories made the whole place come alive. He made my mom’s birthday extra special, and we left smiling ear to ear.
If you’re looking for something fun, unique, and surprisingly heartwarming to do in Phoenix, this is it. Bring your friends or family, and definitely say hi to Bob – he’s the real MVP of the Hall of Flame!
Friendly staff and a great area for kids to play.
I wish I placed foot a 2-3 hours visit. This is an impressive collection and my girls loved it.
Absolutely worth the visit!
Awesome collection of history of tributes to fire fighting! Very informative helpful staff who are great with the kids. Educational area, historical area, play areas... Something for everyone! Covers wildland fighting, 9/11, Yarnell, home safety and so much more. Real videos and interviews playing throughout and a lovely tribute section for all the men & women involved. Extensive collection of cart, cars & trucks. My little future fire fighter loved it! Would go again.
This place was amazing! Everyone was so kind to us and our son. The firetrucks were so cool!
Our experience from the initial phone call to the staff that was working was beyond friendly!! There was something for all ages!
My only suggestion is to plan at least 3-4 hours.
Thank you to All that serve in the fire/rescue!!!
