I loved, loved, loved Jane herself. But the wax was much more painful than any wax I've had in the same area. I disliked the kind of wax (not hard wax), which may have contributed to the pain. But primarily, the technique seemed casual, rather than trying to pull the strips in just the right direction to minimize pain. I don't recall her pressing on the area after pulling the strip either, which also reduces pain. Anyway, she's so awesome, I hate to say it - but it was unexpectedly painful.
