About Spring Creek Farm

When the automobile rolled into town, horses began moving out of cities and into the serene countryside, where they’d no longer have to memorize street signs and obey traffic signals. But even before this pilgrimage, Spring Creek Farm had been offering bucolic respite to weary steeds, continuing what is now a 200-year-long tradition of training and caring for all equine-kind. Today, the historic farm operates under the guidance of owner and director Lorraine Clark, who lives onsite to tend to her 24-stall barn. Each day, Lorraine puts the horses out to roam the nearby fields and streams as well as the well-lit indoor arena—a facility equipped with Perma-Flex footing designed specifically to prevent accidents and encourage breakdance battles between horses and their riders.
