About River City Segs

River City Segs makes 400 years of history easily accessible by using one of the most futuristic mode of transportation. Segway tours include the Capitol Tour, which glides past the Virginia State Capitol, the John Marshall House, and the White House of the Confederacy; the Black History Tour, which explores the slave trading district, the Virginia Civil Rights Monument, and the Maggie Walker House; and the Ghosts and Grisly Stories Tour, where guests will learn about the mysterious death of George Wythe, and the apparition of a North Carolina banker who fell to his death from the Old City Hall. Riders must arrive 45 minutes before the tour starts for safety training with the four expert guides.

I really enjoyed my first time on a Segway. The obstacle course we trained on was a lot tougher than the actual Richmond tour. I'm hoping to take the Christmas segway light tour.

We had a great time! The staff at River City Segs took plenty of time to acquaint us with the proper way to ride a Segway and made sure we were comfortable before hitting the streets. It was an awesome tour and we will definitely be back.

At the beginning of the training it is not so easy but keep trying and after the 45 Mintues training it is just cool!

AWESOME AWESOME AWESOME -- about all I can say. Definitely have to give them a try. Great people and tons of fun taking the tour. Will go back to take other tours offer.

Great crew to train you on their indoor course and then take you out on a unique experience. The segs are a blast, and easier after the training program. Loads of fun and we will be back for more.
