Make sure you bring some snacks with you or eat a little something before you go. Legends has full restaurant service but it was the last stop on our tour. Triple Crossings had a food truck so you could check ahead of time which one is there. It's a great way to check out some local breweries and have fun while doing it!
Bring a growler with you to fill in case you find a really good beer you like.
The trolley was a nice experience! Kevin and Lisa were very helpful on our tour! We were a little disappointed that our group was not able to make it to all of our first choice of breweries. We were told that those breweries could not accommodate for 17 people. Then the last stop, Hardywood, they were not prepared for the group because of some confusion and another event they had going on. They did accommodate the group though! All in all it was a good experience!
I liked the breweries that we toured but the actual tour added no value. It just felt like an overpriced taxi. Next time, I would just pay a taxi and that way can be on my own schedule. There were some breweries that I felt we were rushed.
It's a fun concept and we enjoyed the breweries, however, it wasn't much more than the just the transportation. There were no specials, such as tastings, tours, light snacks, etc. It would have been nice if the breweries were set up for us. We loved Isley, but the line was very long and we were only able to get one beer. I would not have paid full price for this tour.
It was an expensive "taxi" ride to 3 breweries ($40). Didn't include anything except 2 glasses at the end of the tour. Save your $ and drive yourself! A major disappointment!
There was little explanation of what to expect. The locations were crowded when we arrived and we had to pay for any tasting.
Was disappointed that the tour was nothing more than a short trolley ride and no tastings or even information about the beers or breweries were included. Definitely would not do it again and would not recommend.
Definitely not worth $40. I was under the impression that beer at the breweries was included (it was not at all clear from the page that it wasn't), and for $40, I could have paid a taxi to drive me between the breweries on my own schedule, rather than having to guzzle down my beer and food in order to not miss the trolley.
Not worth the money...isn't a "tour" just a ride on a trolley and you are rushed at each stop...and the price only includes the ride. It's a rip off.
