All across the nation's oldest city, kitchens are abuzz with activity. Pastry chefs decorate cakes, grillmasters sear cuts of steak, and vintners decant glasses of their most delicate vintages. Why? A Taste of St. Augustine, the annual competition for the city's restaurant elite. So far, confirmed restaurants are: Raintree Restaurant, Meehan's Irish Pub, Salt Life Food Shack, Applebees, Chicken Salad Chick, Harvest & Reel, The Hyppo, Fried Chicken Kitchen, Hong Kong Cafe, and San Sebastian Winery, Scarlett O'Hara's. While they nosh, festival-goers can enjoy a line-up of musical acts:
- 11 a.m. – 12:45 p.m.: Little Big Band
- 1 p.m. – 2:45 p.m.: Pellicer Creek
- 3 p.m. – 5 p.m.: Chillula

This is one of the best value events in St. Aug. You do good for others and get to enjoy food from fab St. Aug eateries. There were a few more chain restaurants this year than I'd like to see, but I will ALWAYS attend this event! Keep up the good work!

Different & great fun. Lots of elbow bumping & good food. A tweak of expensive till you realize you had tickets in your pocket still. Do this.

It was really nice! Food was great! Plenty of bathrooms and ramps for accessibility at the Ampitheatre. Glad it was not any hotter outside.
