An amazing zoo! A must see!!

FUN!!!!

What a great event the Zoo Lights is! My tip is to go on a weeknight or when its bound to be nice and cold so that it's not so crowded. That way, you get better pictures and a more intimate setting!

Go week nite instead weekend, less crowded

Lights are outstanding....plus, saw some animals ! Took grandchildren at their request as we had attended the year before as well.

Go in through the south side - free parking for that event. it also takes you straight to the zoo on the walking overpass.

Get there early to avoid parking problems and spend the day checking out all of the great exhibits and animals!

Dress in layers! As expected outdoor exhibits are weather dependent, but the indoor exhibits are always heated. We were overheating inside, but rather cold outside.

My kids weren't as thrilled with it because there weren't many animals to see. The polar bears were supposed to be part of it but for some reason they weren't.
