This is an exciting place to see a film you can actually talk about later. True independent films with passion am well made. We even got to hear the director, writer and actors discuss with a Q&A after.

I love the Roxie! Going to try to get over there more often for more shows, because it's one of the last theaters in SF that shows interesting indy films.

The Roxie is the bomb! One of the last great alternative cinema staples left in San Francisco amid the growth and influx of too many "glizy" theatres. The Roxie is the only cinema that actually takes risks on shows that nobody else will. The Roxie is the last stronghold of killer cinema and a great alternative vibe. Their movies never disappoint.
