In yelp, somebody complained of mold in tsukemono / salas -- it was okay yesterday (Wed-4/23-2014). All the stuff on shelves tend to have some dust on it (maybe a little exaggeration lol) but their food!! MAN IT WAS UNEXPECTEDLY GOOD!! The poki . . was not much left but I ordered in anyway and IT WAS GOOD!! a little bit of stringy seaweed and.. maybe some tiny crushed nuts in it?? or MSG?? anyway their poki and chicken-teriyaki were authentic. The chicken was marinated obviously, and cut in pieces for easier consumption. Their food was not food-porn type, but the flavor was REAL. I was pleasantly surprised . . because I expected some mold in salad? lol I want to try other food too

Santo Market is a wonderful family owned operation. They carry several really nice Hawaiian products & the staff is very helpful & friendly.
