Bring a picnic/lunch. There's a nice shaded area to eat outdoors.

Best for younger kids, think primary grades and younger. It's like a mini Exploratorium/discovery museum/zoo.

Great place for little people. All the displays are set at their height so it's easier for them to try things. Great animal rescue center. Very nice to see the elaborate habitats created for the animal residents.

Be prepared that there is a $6 admittance fee for parking. Great for little kids as there are stations provided for them and a great selection of animals to see and explore. Wished there was more to this little museum. I wouldn't pay for the full admission price because the venue isn't that great. When I went last week, some of the animals, like the bobcat and coyote were not there.
