the drink I order was horrible. a pineapple margarita speciality drink for $11. I was so strong that all you could was the tequilla. Work with the bar staff to do a better job.

The salsa was too spicy, and the food is not worth the price. the service was slow and lacking.

We were treated so very poorly. It was late afternoon/early evening on Saturday 3/10. There were 3 of us - 2 adults and one 14 year old boy on crutches. We entered the cantina and went to sit near the fireplace and the bartender came and said we could not be in there because the boy was under 21. I know for a fact this is not CA state law especially since you can order food in the cantina. It was clear that it was slow and he just didn't want to have to serve us that far away from behind the bar. (i've been in the bar business for well over 25 years by the way). So we went into the dining room. The bus person delivered chips and salsa. The table on either side of us got sat after us and the wait person came, got their drink order and ignored us. Then he came back and got their dinner order and still ignored us. So we got water and chips, waited almost 30 minutes then left. The wait never even acknowledged we were there. Interestingly I did see the bartender that turned us out speaking to the wait as we were in clear site of the hostess desk... i don't think that it was a coincidence that we didn't get good service in the restaurant as I was not very nice to the bartender who, clearly, was in the wrong with regard to minors sitting in the bar as he wasn't sitting AT the bar. I may or may not ever go back but certainly if I do and I see it's the same bartender I will turn and walk out.
