The Santa Fe Southern Railway revels in a rich history, one that commenced in the 1800s and was heralded in the Academy Award–winning Judy Garland song "On the Atchison, Topeka, and the Santa Fe". Connecting Santa Fe to the rest of the country, the train line helped to build the southwestern city's reputation as a great arts destination as it transported visitors and wanderlust-filled paintbrushes to the picturesque terrain. During regular expeditions to nearby Lamy, the railway continues to dazzle riders with sweeping vistas just outside the windows of vintage 1920s train cars, which each sport their own snack and drink bar.

It was a great experience for our family and friends. The scenery was gorgeous and we had a lot of fun riding on the open car, taking in the sights and getting beautiful photos! The kids want to go again. Take a picnic!

I gave it to my parents for their anniversary. They said it was a nice train ride but not a whole lot to see. They might mention it as something to do but not highly recommend it

Lovely train ride. My kids had a blast. We spent most of our time in then open car so they could run around.
However, watch out for rail runner security- they made my son cry hysterically. Horrible experience with them. Note- rail runner is un related to SFSR.
