The food was great but for the amount they charged me the amount was lacking which is a big turnoff.

Willie's is an old school hole-in-the-wall BBQ joint, that used to be located up on Beacon Hill for years but moved to Rainier Blvd about 7 years ago. My group shared a family BBQ platter which was cooked to perfection, as were the sides. It would have been nice to have more options for side dishes, like collards and a choice of hotness for the sauce, though hot sauce is available. I didn't get a chance to try their fried chicken, which looked crispy and delicious.
I would recommend Willie's with the caveat, that it is a hole-in-the-wall, especially given the hospitable nature of Willie and his wife and effort which they put into their food in order to carry on the old tradition of BBQ.

The brisket is extremely tender and tasty. I'd go back just for that.
