Had to come back and then was late and was unable to complete upstairs furnice. Also, left hose of one of the downstairs furnices and water was running all over. My husband was able to reattach it before it caused serious damage. Good thing I had to go into the unfinished part of the basement before the water spread to the finished part.

Had a furnace check and clean. During the appointment, the technician recommended freon and a capacitor. The capacitor was reading at a 6.7 vs the recommended 7.5. He gave me a quote of $120, which is apparently a savings of $55. The capacitor is a $20 part and the time to replace is about 90 seconds. This seems a little overpriced, especially given the fact that he had already taken off the capacitor anyhow in the original inspection.
