About Quench the Fire

Quench the Fire Run raises money for the USC Pain Center, which strives to provide patients with complex regional pain syndrome (RSD/CRPS) and other chronic neuropathic pain conditions the best patient care possible. Funding is used to educate patients, medical professionals, and the community about these debilitating ailments, as well as for research to find causes and cures. Now in its 11th year, the event lets racers run, walk, or roll a 5K or 10K course that finishes in Lake Balboa Park to raise awareness of CRPS.
