Very personalized treatment that I was hoping for! Lucien is an artist, transforming dull to Wow. I was afraid to “go outside my comfort zone”, but so glad I did. He wants the best for every client, listening and taking time to help find the best style (and color).
Worth every penny. Salon is quite nice with good light. Joelle was wonderful, a sweetheart. Imagine being transported to the a South of France for a few hours! Tres chic.

It was my first time there, my hair was damaged and dry. I did get charge extra, because my hair is mid-length and for blow dry. However, it was worth it. Lucien is an expert, he cut my dead ends, colored and I got the deep conditioning. He did a wonderful job, it's the best hair cut and color, I had and will definitely go back.
I got the best color & highlights EVER! My hair was dull & lifeless when I arrived & now it’s shiny & healthy looking & feels like silk! The cut/style totally suits me & my lifestyle. So happy I trusted him with my hair. Lucien is truly an Amazing Colorist & Stylist! He had two other clients while I was there & showed each one personal attention with the utmost care! Definitely will go back! =)
Beautiful salon, fine people, Joelle and Lucien treated me like royalty. Lucien colored my hair--which had been white for many years--a wonderful champagne color. He also snipped my broken ends and gave me a lovely cut.
Like every salon, they had products for sale, but unlike many salons, what they offered was very classy, very French and surprisingly affordable. Thanks to Salon Celine, my Christmas list is almost done! This is the first time I'm looking forward to my next visit.
What's not to love about Salon Celine? All around a wonderful experience from my first time there.
- the receptionist Joelle was warm and friendly;
- I was upfront about my hair length being mid-back, and I totally understand the very reasonable $30 surcharge (it's the same at other places!);
- the salon was very clean and tastefully decorated (it doesn't scream French but has an understated French charm and simplicity);
- they recommended products suitable for my hair condition but didn't push the sale;
Now, the most important part, the stylist Lucien:
- professional & friendly, great conversationalist without being chatty
- took time to understand what I was looking for and made recommendations based on my hair condition (dry and brittle from a long time of my neglect!)
- meticulous and efficient
My hair was a mess after not getting a cut for about a year. Lucien cut out the split ends and gave shape and life to my now-touchable hair. The only (pseudo) complaint is that he styled it so well that I can't possibly recreate the post-salon look with my hopeless hair care skills.
tl;dr: The salon is very communicative and clear about pricing and all things hair-related. I had no sticker shock, just an overall pleasant experience. Thanks, Salon Celine.
