About C2 It, LLC

At C2 It, LLC, horses are the helpers. The camp can be seen in Atlantan Magazine and the Atlanta Parent Magazine as Best Horse and Outdoor Education Camp in Atlanta since 2007. The facility has safely offered equine-assisted therapies with a 5:1 camper-to-coach ratio to kids and teens with multiple sclerosis, autism, Down Syndrome, and many other educational adventures. Primary school teachers lead creative art classes, and professional instructors lead groups through fun games and skills courses with horses. A pair of highly qualified professionals oversee these programs, including Caroline Jaffee, who is nationally certified through the Professional Association of Therapeutic Horsemanship International.

The facility's human staff joins forces with therapeutic horses, each of which goes through extensive training and must present a squeaky-clean criminal record before joining the C2 It team. Once on the relaxed, secluded property, the well-tempered steeds serve as both physical and mental therapists, helping special-needs visitors increase their strength, improve their motor skills, and build personal relationships.

My child had a great time HOWEVER, it should not be advertised as a horseback riding camp as there is relatively little riding done. Someone who went the week before had informed us of this so I had prepared my child for this.

Even though the kids don't ride horses every day our daughter still had a great week at camp!

As you are aware from my correspondence, I feel that this business was intentionally misleading and deceitful in their advertising. There was no response directly from the C2 It to my multiple inquiries.

Very disappointing. They canceled camp on Thursday, then when we arrived on Friday, they told us camp would be ending early. This was a huge inconvenience , & I feel that I got ripped off. I want a partial refund of $140 for the camp hours missed.

The "camp" was not what I thought it would be. It was some lady's house. I was told the children would be in groups of 3kid to one counselor, instead it was all ages of kids one in big group. And the children got barely any horse time.

Looks like a backyard business. Not at all what I expected. Claimed it's a horse camp, but kids rode only once for a few minutes. Not at all what they claimed it is. Discussed animals and plants of the area, I could have paid less for a nature camp to do that! Waste of money!

Not much contact with horses. The ranch does have more than 8 to 9 horses and there are about 20 kids on the group. No contact with horses until Wednesday and then they were lead around in a circle in a barn.

This camp was a joke. There was 1 horseback riding experience of about 10 minutes. The camp was $200. A tshirt was extra. Pizza day on Friday was an additional $10. I have no idea what $200 was used for. There were no crafts and on Friday the children were supposed to wash horses. That didn't happen either. Was told bec "it might rain". I reached out to try and get answers and no one returned my calls or emails. Such a disappointment. Do not waste your money

It was not at all what I expected. It was advertised as a horseback riding camp and my daughter hardly rode a horse at all. I would not recommend this and wish I had never wasted $200 on it myself. I emailed the people and they didn't respond. :(
