All classes including a handgun rental as well as ear and eye protection; customers may also bring their own firearms.

Led by chief instructor and range safety officer Shawn Washington, Self Defense CCW's team of fellow NRA-certified instructors guide students through the skills and responsibilities of carrying a firearm. Catering to first-time gun owners and experienced marksmen, their classes cover topics such as basic firearms skills, handgun safety, and alternatives to using force. Along with classes seven days a week, the instructors impart their know-how during sessions set up around students' schedules.

Shawn was a great and highly knowledgeable instructor. He made the lecture part of the class very simple and covered all of the important topics. He also allowed us to ask him any questions about certain scenarios and was able to answer them effectively. He took us to the range and had us preform various shooting drills before certifying us. Best bang for your buck!

Great instructor. The class of 8 students was able to ask questions throughout the course about possible scenarios, security pertaining to their own home, etc. It was very interactive and well worth the price. Highly recommend.
