Sport Stable at Superior lets skaters stay on the ice year-round, even when the days are long and hot. The NHL-sized rinks and skillpad are maintained by hockey players, who keep it cold and smooth so figure skaters, hockey players, and the general public can easily glide around for hours.

The rink's instructors also teach skating skills to complete beginners during learn-to-skate classes and hockey skills during learn-to-play programs.
