What began as a tailor shop more than a century ago evolved into Cleaning by Frederick’s, a chain of dry-cleaning outposts certified by the Department of Environmental Conservation for their environmentally conscious techniques. Cleaning by Frederick’s technicians employ decades of experience as they clean shirts, pants, and dresses, and gently remove stains embedded in delicate suedes, leathers, bridal gowns, and space suits. Most locations have a full-time tailor who can do alternations, and patrons can drop off their garments or arrange pickup and delivery service.
