Rather than having their students segue from Pilates sessions to the free-weight room, the instructors at Fitness Movement merge the benefits of weight training, cardio, and Pilates into single group classes. With certifications, marathons, and competitive bike races in their respective backgrounds, they steer guests through workouts that last 45 minutes. They acclimate guests to the studio's Megaformer exclusive to Lagree Method. This machine provides resistance the ability to quickly shift from one exercise to another, while maintaining an elevated heart rate.

Sebastian Lagree is the fitness guru who invented the aptly named Lagree Method, a full-body conditioning regimen that promotes five core ideals of exercise—cardio, strength, endurance, body composition, and flexibility. Lagree Method utilizes strengthening and toning benefits of weight training, the rapid non-stop movement of cardio, and the muscle lengthening and postural benefits of Pilates.

The workout was great, I am sore all over the next day. I was surprised, but I was literally dripping sweat which almost never happens. The instructor, Anna, was really helpful before the class begun and throughout the class
