About Jones Photo

From a black-and-white photo lab to a consummate producer of today’s digital images and fine art giclees, Jones Photo has been painstakingly scanning and printing the inimitable pictures of clients since the company’s inception in 1947. While the experts inside the sprawling one-story adobe confines have remained on the cusp of each new technological breakthrough, such as color film and digital files programmed by a cryogenically frozen Ansel Adams, they also continue to develop 35 mm and 120 film. Whatever the original medium, they print images on traditional, scratch-resistant photo paper as well as create canvas wraps, photo albums, and photo composites.

Our teacher for our photo class, Steve, was very knowledgeable and thorough. He helped each one of us individually to understand how to use our equipment better and with his slide show and hand outs he explained to us some really smart ways to take better photos. I highly recommend his class.

Such a great class. It was very informative and Steve is extremely knowledgeable! He covers so much in the class, but it does get to be a bit overwhelming and long towards the end. I love that they provide handouts to take home because it gives me the opportunity to process things and go back at a later time.

The company and employees were extremely easy to work with. The instructor for the class was very good at explaining and demonstrating all the topics he covered. I would highly recommend this class to anyone starting to educate themselves with their camera. Excellent!
