It is a teaching salon so the apprentice cutting my hair was very nervous...or so she seemed to me. The apprentice(s) definitely need to be advised to talk to the client as they go along so that they are not cutting more than desired or are not getting worried that they are messing up. Also, maybe the teacher should check in w/the apprentice more often than just when she asks for help...maybe she doesn't know she needs help.
