My husband and I visited Williamsburg to ice skate on the outdoor rink this past winter. We really enjoyed it and the staff was very helpful. Great for kids and adults!

Great place to visit if you have any interest in colonial times. We would strongly recommend Colonial Williamsburg. It is a learning experience, presented in an exciting way. Hearing about the people and activities of the time, how people lived and worked and played, was just great and very entertaining - no dusty books but lively conversations with enactors. My family and I have been in the Williamsburg area in the past, but haven't bought tickets to Colonial Williamsburg in many years. We are so glad we went back again, seeing newly opened houses and workplaces, and listening to an ever-changing discussion of day-to-day life in the late 1700's. We most highly recommend it.

Allow plenty of time. There is so much to see and it is hard to get it all done in one day.

Make sure you have plenty of time to see everything and know what you want to see before hand. The line to check in was long and that set the whole day back.
