We had a wonderful time! It was a beautiful day and the Segways were so much fun. We did the 2 hr. historical tour and it was quite educational. Matt our tour guide was great. My tip to others taking the tour is to make sure that you arrive at least 15 min. prior to your scheduled time. We had to wait for the other people that were scheduled at the same time as we were and they were not very considerate of the start time and therefore it put all of us late getting started.

We had a great time and the owner of the business made sure we were well prepared for our tour by showing an informative video of the workings of the Segway and what to expect. We were allowed to practice and had to show our competence with the vehicle before taking off (it was very easy to learn). It was a lot of fun and I recommend it to anyone. For those who want a little more of a challenge, they also offer a sort-of off road tour using Segways with larger wheels. That will be my next tour.

Staff was friendly, knowledgeable and encouraging. The segways were so much fun and the tour was interesting. I highly recommend this tour and hope to do it again soon.

Very smooth operation with friendly & knowledgeable guides. Yorktown has a good mix of terrain to learn the Segway.

I've been on 5 Segway Tours (including now this one) and this one was the BEST! (Yep, they're more fun than a Segway in Disney World, wow!) Randy is an excellent, knowledgeable, and considerate tour guide. I've spent years living in Yorktown and grew up not far from here and yet he was able to teach me new things about the area. For example, I didn't know the Yorktown Battlefields used to be a golf course in the 20s! They don't tell you that when you're on a tour with the park services, but it's true. Look it up. The Segways are so much fun to ride and these guides make it comfortable for anyone, from beginner to old pro, to have a good time. I would HIGHLY recommend Patriot Tours Segway.
