I made an appointment several months in advance to have kayaks delivered on Saturday, October 22nd to a place where our group could cross over into Little Tybee. I telephoned the establishment on Friday, October 21st at 1:00 p.m. and got an answering machine and left a message that we would be there the next morning. On the day of the trip, the owner told me that he didn't get the message because he had closed early on Friday and also that he doesn't do deliveries on Saturdays and that we could go kayaking off of his pier. I had done that trip a year ago and it is a very difficult trip and we didn't bargain to do that, we bargained to do a trip to Little Tybee. He then offered to deliver the kayaks on Sunday, but the group I was with had to return to Atlanta early Sunday, so we did not get to go kayaking. We drove nine hours round trip, spent $350 on lodging, at least $400 on food; however the purpose of the trip was lost. Very disappointed.
