About Texas State Museum of Asian Cultures
Texas State Museum of Asian Cultures was founded by a Corpus Christi native, Mrs. Chandler, who spent many years in Asia teaching and collecting cultural art and artifacts. Nowadays, her collection, along with other wonderful Asian antiquities and exhibits, builds a “bridge” connecting Texas to Asia. Visitors can gaze at the crafts and arts coming straight from Japan, China, Thailand, India, and many other countries.
