About Backyard Orchards

Sisters and former farm kids Allie Corcoran and Cassie Young founded Backyard Orchards as a way to introduce people to the joys of local produce. When visitors stop by to pick their own berries or grab a basket of peaches, the sisters love to educate them about the importance of buying local and what farm life is like. As soon as the pumpkins start to ripen on the vine, Backyard Orchards transforms into a fall-festivities mecca complete with a corn maze, cow train, hay-bale jumpin', and wagon rides. Families pause the activities just long enough to sip cider and snack on boiled peanuts and ice cream.
