Yes I know it’s touristy, but it is definitely a great way to explore the area and get some interesting facts. Wish it ran just a little bit longer but definitely fun.

I did the tour in Washington DC. Pros: Easy to find a bus and start the tour at any time and bus stop throughout the day. Bus was clean and had the option of inside or open-air on top. Good way to quickly see many of the sights without holding it! Cons: On the day of my tour, most of the usual route was closed because of an event on the National Mall. Route closures are fairly common in DC. I did not get to see many of the locations I wanted to. Big Bus Tours did not warn me ahead of time of the closures. The tour guide on my bus was not as knowledgeable as I had hoped.

Good, nice tour, give an idea about the main places, but does not get close enough for good pictures.

The tour was informative and fun. Great narration and courteous safe driving. Nice view from the upper deck and nice to have the option to hop on/off for 24hrs. Fun for the family.

It was lovely. My friend came to visit me from London England. I wanted to give her a tour of Washington DC. Me being a new resident ( only moved to Virginia last year from London England). I wouldn’t know where to begin. The bus tour was the perfect way. We stopped at Madam was fantastic. We would do it again and again. We saw all the Iconic land marks . The history lesson was fab

About Big Bus Tours

Three separate tour loops give patrons of Big Bus Tours a chance to see as many of D.C.'s incredible sights as their minds can handle—and there's plenty of fresh air thrown in for free. Hop-on, hop-off privileges give visitors to the city (or residents looking at it with new eyes) a chance to pop out to see the Lincoln Memorial, then re-board at their convenience to journey toward one of the other beautiful, historic marble landmarks that dot the city. But you don't have to leave the bus to enjoy the sunshine: the double-decker tops offers riders the chance to slap on some sunscreen, grab their shades, and feel the wind blow through their hair as softly as it laced through President Washington's straw-filled ponytail.
