About Cerulean Sea Charters

So, what is Cerulean? On the surface, it’s a shade of blue. But to us, it’s a feeling—where sky and ocean blur into one, and the beauty of that space creates something deeper: a chance to truly connect.

Cerulean is a 45-foot sailboat, crafted in France for both luxury and performance. The perfect setting to make unforgettable memories, with the sound of the ocean, and wind in your hair. Every experience aboard is touched with a little magic.

Our story began decades before Captain Dylan ever set sail—his father, David, an Englishman from Newcastle, discovered his love of sailing at a young age. In the late 70's David met an American girl (Patricia) on a boat crossing the North Sea. After she returned home to the US, David wrote Patricia letters almost every day. In 1982 they were married and moved to Newport Beach, California. Here they lived on several sailboats, and even ran a small yacht chartering business. Today, Dylan is carrying on that legacy with Cerulean Sea Yacht Charters.
