The class was fun and BYOB was a nice touch, however, the instructor seemed overwhelmed and wasn't able to check on everyone's process throughout the class. Macaroons are very specific, you have to beat the eggs to a certain consistency, not over mix the batter, and everything needs to be at the right temp. Multiple people left the class with less than satisfactory end products, which is frustrating considering the price you pay for the class. The instructor did not have bandwidth to check in on everyone throughout the process and would pause the class to go over the next steps then leave everyone to their own devices. Overall the class didn't feel well organized and my end product was not as expected. I guess when the instructor starts the class telling everyone how hard it will be, we should have known we were being set up to fail.

We had so much fun in Chef Cregg’s class! For our first time ever making French Macarons, we think our cookies turned out pretty good. We plan to participate in another CocuSocial cooking class in the future. I highly recommend this experience!

I got this for my daughter-in-law and she had a blast. Very informative and easy to follow along. They are looking at other cooking classes there.

Class itself was fun and easy. Just a little weird that it was in a hotel lobby. Very poor COVID safety protocols and first impression wasn’t great because after check in they told us to select any table so we selected the one on the edge. Then after getting situated the instructor told us this table was for a solo and not a pair and made us move tables. Then sat a pair there immediately after.
