This course is designed for students with an interest in video games who want to explore the world of coding through Roblox while enjoying a fun learning experience. The program aims to impart programming concepts in an engaging manner, fostering creativity and developing essential soft skills for academic success. Roblox provides a platform for students to learn various skills, including creativity, leadership, teamwork, programming, coding, overall computing skills, logic, and mathematics.
Throughout the course, students will enhance their ability to articulate programming concepts effectively and teach them to others. The classes will be held twice a week, catering to students in grades 3 through 12. The curriculum spans eight classes, with four classes dedicated to covering half of the topics for the respective level. Students will delve into practical aspects such as creating Roblox accounts, downloading Roblox Studio, installing Roblox Studio, an introduction to Roblox Studio, working with Obby, and creating their first Roblox game while learning fundamental coding principles.
