About Dat's Italian!
From prepping the kitchen to cleaning the bathrooms, all of the tasks that go into running Dat's Italian! are shared by family. The restaurant started with the husband-and-wife team of Dennis and JoAnn, who opened Dat's in 2010 and worked tirelessly to re-create the cozy feeling of family dinners. Their food goes a long way in accomplishing that goal, with the pasta playing a big role in particular—the team crafts it fresh at the restaurant, instead of picking it from neighboring noodle orchards.
These efforts are obvious when you try the homemade lasagna, a customer favorite baked with sweet Italian sausage and six Italian cheeses. The Sicilian spaghetti pie has also created buzz: the pasta is baked with pepperoni and cheese, and is topped with a delicate pastry. Eggplant parmesan, chicken cacciatore, and other Italian favorites round out Dennis and JoAnn's menu, along with a robust selection of wine, beer, and spirits.
