- Discontinue retinoids, Retin-A, tretinoin, adapalene, retinol products, glycolic acid, salicylic acid, and other exfoliating acids 7–10 days prior to treatment.
- Discontinue benzoyl peroxide products 7 days prior to treatment.
- Clients currently taking Accutane (isotretinoin) or who have taken Accutane within the past 6 months may not be eligible for treatment.
- Avoid excessive sun exposure, tanning, and sunburned skin for at least 2 weeks prior to treatment.
- Please inform your provider of any prescription skincare products, medications, recent cosmetic treatments, or changes to your health history before your appointment.
Failure to follow these pre-treatment instructions may result in the appointment being postponed or rescheduled for safety reasons.
