1 Introductory Argentine Tango Class: A single class introducing the basics of tango.

The Fernanda Ghi Dance Academy is a Boston-based school that specializes in authentic Argentine Tango. Our absolute beginner classes are perfect for people who are not just new to tango but are also new to dance. You will learn the technique of partner dancing, so you feel comfortable dancing with others and basic vocabulary so that you can dance in social situations.

Each class begins with exercises to build technique and then works on specific tango steps. We change partners regularly throughout class so that you have the chance to practice dancing with as many people as possible. Each month we begin a new series, and material builds consecutively in each session.

• This class is for people with no prior experience
• No partner required
• Tango is addictive

What to Wear:

• Shoes with suede or leather soles, socks, or socks worn over the outside of the shoe. (Shoes should be able to slide and pivot on a wood floor without catching. We do not recommend street shoes with rubber or plastic soles.)
