Once your booking is confirmed you will receive an email confirmation with your booking number and a direct link to GVV’s Traveler Portal where you will find important information and your travel documentation.

- Passport validity: Must be valid for at least 6 months after your travel date and contain at least 2 blank visa pages.
- Solo travel supplement: Additional fee applies — contact Great Value Vacations at (800) 495-4903 for pricing. All travelers age 2 and over must purchase a voucher.
- Ground transfers not included: Airport-to-hotel transfers are not part of this package. Taxi, rideshare, or private transfer costs are the traveler’s responsibility.
- Currency: Euro (€). ATMs are widely available on all three islands.
- Official language: Greek. English is widely spoken in tourist areas.
- Ferry travel: High-speed ferries depart from Athens (Piraeus). Travel times: Athens → Mykonos (~5.5 hrs), Mykonos → Santorini (~4.5 hrs), Santorini → Athens (~8 hrs). Bring motion sickness remedies if needed.
- Best time to visit: May through October offers warm, sunny weather ideal for island-hopping. July–August is peak season with higher crowds and temperatures.
- Entry requirements: US citizens do not need a visa for Greece for stays under 90 days. Always verify current entry requirements before travel at travel.state.gov.
Frequently Asked Questions
Does buying a Groupon voucher mean my trip is booked?
No — purchasing the voucher does not book your trip. Purchasing a Groupon voucher entitles you to book a ‘Limited Time Offer’ vacation package at a rate specifically discounted for Groupon customers. After buying, follow the instructions in the How To Book section. Finish the steps as soon as possible to secure your preferred dates.
Are all travel dates available at the Groupon price?
Not all dates are offered at the Groupon rate. Check the Great Value Vacations special offers page to see eligible dates. If your preferred date isn’t available at the Groupon price, you may need to pay any additional amount at GVV’s checkout or adjust your travel dates.
If the departure dates show a range — how do I select my specific travel date?
On the partner’s checkout page, simply select the month of travel that includes your preferred departure date. You will then be presented with a calendar showing dates available and the corresponding rates. Select the date that works for you and then at the payment page you will be asked to provide your Groupon voucher code. If the date that you selected is more than the Groupon voucher, you can pay the difference with a credit card.
Can I travel from a different city than listed on Groupon?
Yes — You can fly from any available airport, not just the ones listed on Groupon. Simply select any departure airport on Groupon and then change to your preferred departure airport at merchant’s checkout, apply your Groupon voucher, and the system will adjust the vacation package price accordingly.
Can I buy a voucher under my name and use it for someone else?
Yes — your Groupon voucher is not tied to a specific traveler.
Are the ferry tickets included, and do I need to book them separately?
Yes, ferry tickets are included in your package for all three island crossings: Athens (Piraeus) → Mykonos, Mykonos → Santorini, and Santorini → Athens (Piraeus). You do not need to book these separately — Great Value Vacations handles all ferry reservations as part of your booking.
