Day 2: Day at Leisure in Madrid
Arrive in Madrid and spend the day exploring at your own pace. Step into royal history with a visit to the magnificent Royal Palace of Madrid, Europe’s largest functioning palace, and admire its opulent rooms, artworks, and armory. Don’t miss the nearby Cathedral de Santa Maria de la Almudena before unwinding in Casa de Campo Park, a sprawling green escape offering walking trails and panoramic city views.

Immerse yourself in art and culture as you explore the world-renowned Prado Museum, home to masterpieces by Goya, Titian, and El Greco. Continue your art journey at Museo Reina Sofia, or indulge in shopping along Madrid’s iconic Gran Vía. Pause at Plaza del Callao or Plaza Mayor to savor tapas and people-watch in a classic Madrid setting.
Day 4: Travel to Granada
Board a high-speed train for a scenic journey to Granada in Andalusia (approx. 4 hours). Upon arrival, pick up your rental car and enjoy free time to explore. Discover the breathtaking Alhambra Palace, an exquisite example of Moorish architecture and one of Spain’s most treasured landmarks.
Day 5: Travel to Seville
Drive west to Seville (approx. 2.5 hours), the enchanting capital of Andalusia. Rich in history and culture, Seville offers a tapestry of influences from Roman, Islamic, and Christian eras. Take time to soak in the charm of its narrow streets, lively plazas, and elegant buildings.
Day 6: Day at Leisure in Seville
Explore Seville’s historic Casco Antiguo, home to three UNESCO World Heritage Sites: the Seville Cathedral, the Royal Alcázar, and the General Archive of the Indies. Venture into the Macarena district for religious landmarks or cross the River Guadalquivir to the vibrant Triana neighborhood. In the evening, enjoy an included flamenco performance at the renowned Casa de la Memoria, an intimate venue that captures the passion and rhythm of this iconic Andalusian art form.
Day 7: Travel to Córdoba
Journey northeast to Córdoba (approx. 2 hours by road). Discover the city’s Moorish splendor at the Mezquita-Catedral, a stunning Mosque-Cathedral blending Islamic and Christian architecture. Wander across the ancient Roman Bridge, explore the charming Jewish Quarter, and uncover medieval churches that tell centuries of stories.
