Suggested Itinerary For the Trip

Day 1: First steps in Madeira

Welcome to Madeira! Today's plan is a light stroll along the Funchal seaside promenade. There will also be a little bonus for gambling fans and football enthusiasts.

Day 2: A day full of flavors and views

You'll start at the vibrant Funchal market, where you can savor exotic fruits and soak up the true atmosphere of Madeira. Afterwards, you'll stroll through a botanical garden full of colorful flowers and ponds, offering a peaceful and inspiring sight. For lunch, you'll enjoy typical Madeiran specialties, and in the afternoon, you'll experience a breathtaking view from the Cabo Girão cliff, boasting one of the most impressive viewpoints on the island. You'll end the day in the charming village of Câmara de Lobos, which offers arguably the most beautiful view of the cliff.

Day 3: The contrasts - from the ocean to the mountain peaks

In the morning, you'll head to the Ponta de São Lourenço peninsula, where you'll be enchanted by the rugged beauty of the landscape and the feeling of being at the edge of the world. Then you'll go to the town of Santana, known for its traditional houses with colorful shutters – an ideal place for a short stop and photos. You'll end the day on the summit of Pico do Arieiro, easily accessible by car, where you'll have some of the most breathtaking panoramic views of Madeira.

Day 4: Ocean experiences

Today's program starts at the Cascata dos Anjos waterfall, which plunges directly onto the coastal road, offering a unique experience and the opportunity to take impressive photos. Then you'll head to the Ponta do Pargo lighthouse, which offers breathtaking views of the Atlantic and the surrounding green hills. The next stop will be Achadas da Cruz, where you'll enjoy an unforgettable cable car ride that overcomes steep cliffs and in a moment transports you to the peaceful world of traditional fields by the sea. You'll end the day in the town of Porto Moniz, famous for its natural lava pools. Swimming here in the ocean, yet safe in the calm lagoons, is an experience that perfectly combines refreshment with a view of the dramatic coast of Madeira..

Day 5: Magical forest and 25 springs

The penultimate day on the island will be marked by natural beauty. You will go to the magical laurel forest, walk along the lava river and enjoy the beautiful waterfalls.

Day 6: Farewell from the nuns

Your holiday is unfortunately coming to an end. Before you leave, if you have enough time, go to the Franciscan Church and, if time permits, stop by the viewpoint with the statue of Jesus for one last dip in the ocean
