Tour Itinerary at a Glance
Day 1: Arrival in the Heart of Mexico
Bienvenido a México! Welcome to Mexico!
Your epic journey begins now! For the next five days, you'll uncover the wonders of Mexico City, a metropolis filled with history, culture, and vibrant energy. Upon arrival at Benito Juárez Airport, pick up your luggage, get a public transport card, and make your way to the hotel. If you have time and energy left today, check out the recommended activities in your itinerary or enjoy a meal at a great local restaurant near your hotel.
Day 2: Centro Histórico: Where Legends Were Forged
Step into the sacred heart of Mexico City—Centro Histórico, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and the birthplace of ancient Tenochtitlán. Over 500 years ago, on this very ground, Aztec warriors clashed with Spanish conquistadors in a battle that reshaped history. Here, time stands still. Walk among the city's oldest temples and palaces, the oldest park in the Americas, and streets alive with mystery, stories, and local energy. Unlike Europe's polished city centers, this is a place where the past whispers and the present pulses with life. Welcome to the heart of the legend.
Day 3: Place of the Coyotes
Today, you will venture into Coyoacán, one of the sixteen boroughs of Mexico City. In Nahuatl, the name "Coyoacán" means "place of the coyotes". This historic area is where Hernán Cortés settled in 1521, after conquering Mexico City. For centuries, Coyoacán was an independent city, separate from the growing capital, until it was officially incorporated into Mexico City in 1857. Coyoacán is also famous as the home of the iconic Mexican artist Frida Kahlo, who lived in the Casa Azul (Blue House) with her husband, the renowned painter Diego Rivera. This neighborhood is not just rich in history, but is also deeply intertwined with the legends of Mexico’s artistic and revolutionary past.
Day 4: A Journey into Mexican Luxury
Today, you will stroll down the longest and most iconic avenue in Mexico City, adorned by the majestic Golden Angel of Independence. Then, you’ll explore the upscale neighborhood of Polanco, home to the elite of Mexico, where luxury and elegance define every corner.
Day 5: Farewell to Mexico City
All beautiful journeys must eventually come to an end, and today, sadly, you must return home. But you are surely filled with unforgettable experiences and excitement, and it’s quite possible that Mexico City has woven its way into your soul. If that’s the case, rest assured—Mexico City will welcome you back with open arms, ready for your next epic adventure.
