I already have 2 pairs of sloggers that I love, in the step-in shoe lower cut style. These looked perfect for rainy days = thought I could tuck my jeans into them. But they are tough to get on - a real challenge. And the plastic material is much thinner (cheaper?) than the ones I have. The picture looked like the center was open. The black elastic makes them harder to get on. Too much trouble for easy step-in when I walk my dog.

I love my sloggers! I have 3 pair! They are great to keep my feet dry and warm when it's raining; the rubber sole is thick and protect from the rocks or brush thorns; and they are light and comfortable to wear.
