About 12th Annual Afro-Latino Festival NYC

The Festival which takes place at Ile Oyin in Harlem (208 East 126th St) and BRIC House in Brooklyn (647 Fulton St), celebrates its 7th year anniversary in 2026. The affirming event is a weekend-long tribute to the art, music, and culture created and enjoyed by Afro-Latino people, as well as a positive space for discussing issues that affect the community. Music and Fun
The fest features a curated food experience, a vendors' market, and a podcast series, but the main draw is always a stacked musical lineup. The Festival Weekend features headliners like 2025 Female Konpa Artist of the Year Anie Alerte with Zile band, with konpa, salsa, reggae, reggaeton and house music vibes provided by DJ Famoso of I Love Salsa, DJ Khalil and DJ Sabine Blaizin. The concerts will keep you swaying all weekend long.
Afro-Latin Talks Conference
The action-driven side of the festival brings together scholars, writers, advocates, and cultural figures for panel discussions relevant to the community and the Liberacion Film Festival highlighting diverse stories in film. The 2026 edition covers such topics as museums and cultural heritage, music business primers, a book talk with author Natasha Alford and community economics and entrepreneurship.
